Free Things To Do In London

Natural History Museum

Head to South Kensington and head to the Natural History Museum. You can usually walk straight in, but at busy times, you may want to book a slot online. Weekends can be a little bit hectic, but weekdays are usually peaceful, and a lot of fun. Perfect for a rainy day in London, with or without children. There is also now an outside area, which we absolutely love.

Richmond Park

Richmond Park is probably our favourite place in London. It just feels so peaceful. Richmond Park is absolutely massive so you just feel like you are miles and miles away from the city. One thing we love to do is grab a coffee from where we park the car (Pembroke Lodge) and then wander around. There are the most lovely animals, including deer. To us, Richmond Park is perfect.

Watch Changing The Guard At Buckingham Palace

If you are visiting London, you simply cannot miss the changing of the guard. The weekends in summer get rather busy, and you’ll need to get there early, but you can also go during the week. Check the website for up to date times. This is a great activity even if you just live in London. We love to grab a little bit of breakfast and then pop down to Buckingham Palace.
